At BLOKS Group – a VC/PE-backed e-mobility start-up from Munich (€12m revenue, 70 employees) – Ruben Faust took on finance steering and insolvency support as interim CFO. The reporting line was to the general manager and COO.
Situation
The start-up ran into financial distress up to insolvency. What was needed was an interim CFO who could stabilise controlling and liquidity while confidently managing investors and suppliers.

The brief: own budget management, controlling and company valuation, lead crisis and liquidity management through insolvency, and take charge of communication with investors and suppliers.
