Germany

Phone: +49 (0) 170 – 11 78 871

A data protection officer has not been appointed, as the requirements under Art. 37 GDPR in conjunction with Section 38 BDSG are not met (sole proprietorship, no extensive processing of special categories of personal data).

2. Principles of data processing

As a matter of principle, we only process the personal data of our users insofar as this is necessary to provide a functional website as well as our content and services. The processing of personal data regularly takes place only with the user's consent. An exception applies in cases where prior consent cannot be obtained for factual reasons and the processing of the data is permitted by law.

We adhere to the principles of Art. 5 GDPR:

3. Data collection when visiting this website

Server log files

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests)

The hosting provider of this website automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits. These are:

This data is not merged with other data sources. The basis for the data processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests). Our legitimate interest lies in the proper operation and security of the website. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected, usually after 7 days.

Hosting

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, Art. 28 GDPR

This website is hosted by manitu GmbH, Welvertstraße 2, 66606 St. Wendel, Germany. The servers are located exclusively in Germany. A data processing agreement (DPA) pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded with the hosting provider.

SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser's address bar begins with „https://

4. Contact form

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) / Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests)

If you send us an enquiry via the contact form on this website, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact data you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

The data entered in the contact form is:

This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR insofar as your enquiry relates to the initiation of a contractual relationship, and otherwise on the basis of our legitimate interest in the effective handling of enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You may object to the processing at any time with effect for the future.

The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected – at the latest 6 months after the communication has ended, provided that no statutory retention obligations apply.

5. Fonts (locally hosted)

This website uses the fonts Raleway and Source Sans 3. These are delivered exclusively locally from our own server and are not loaded from an external service (e.g. Google Fonts).

When the fonts are loaded, no connection to third-party servers is therefore established; in particular, no data (such as your IP address) is transmitted to Google or other providers.

6. LinkedIn (external links)

This website does not technically embed any LinkedIn content. It merely contains simple hyperlinks to Ruben Faust's LinkedIn profile and to individual posts. When you merely visit this website, no connection to LinkedIn is established and no data is transmitted to LinkedIn.

Only when you actively click such a link do you leave our website; from that point on, LinkedIn's privacy policy applies exclusively. The provider is LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland; processing may also be carried out by LinkedIn Corporation, 1000 W. Maude Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94085, USA.

7. Formspree (form delivery)

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, Art. 28 GDPR

The contact form on this website is technically processed via the Formspree service. When you submit the form, the data entered is transmitted to Formspree's servers and forwarded from there to our email address.

Provider: Formspree, Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #3717, Walnut, CA 91789, USA

Formspree's servers are located in the USA. For the transfer of personal data to the USA, a data processing agreement exists with Formspree. The transfer takes place on the basis of the EU standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR.

Formspree Privacy Policy: https://formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy

The data transmitted via Formspree is used exclusively to process your enquiry and is not passed on to third parties. Formspree stores submissions for a limited period; we recommend contacting us directly if you wish to have your data deleted.

8. Cookies & local storage

Legal basis: Section 25(2) TDDDG (technically necessary)

This website does not use any cookies – neither its own tracking or marketing cookies nor third-party cookies, as no external content is embedded.

The local storage of your browser (localStorage/sessionStorage) is not used either. The language selection (German/English) is implemented via separate, directly accessible addresses (www.faustsolutions.de and www.faustsolutions.de/en/) – without any storage on your device.

9. Your rights as a data subject

You have the following rights with regard to the personal data concerning you:

Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)

You have the right to request confirmation as to whether personal data concerning you is being processed and, if so, to obtain access to this data as well as further information.

You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of the personal data concerning you if certain requirements are met.

Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)

You have the right to receive the personal data concerning you that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.

Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7(3) GDPR)

Insofar as the processing is based on consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent up to the withdrawal.

No automated decision-making (Art. 22 GDPR)

Automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR does not take place on this website.

To exercise your rights, please contact:

Ruben Faust – FAUSTSOLUTIONS

We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, but no later than within one month (Art. 12(3) GDPR).

10. Right to withdraw and object

If you have given consent to the processing of your personal data, you can withdraw it at any time by email to rfaust@faustsolutions.de. The lawfulness of the data processing carried out up to the withdrawal remains unaffected by the withdrawal.

Insofar as we base the processing of your personal data on the balancing of interests under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you can object to the processing. In the event of an objection, we ask you to explain the reasons for your objection. We will then cease the data processing unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests and rights.

11. Competent data protection supervisory authority

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data by us (Art. 77 GDPR).

The supervisory authority responsible for us (registered office: North Rhine-Westphalia):

40102 Düsseldorf

Phone: +49 211 38424-0
Email: poststelle@ldi.nrw.de
Website: www.ldi.nrw.de

Alternatively, you can also contact the supervisory authority of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement.

12. Changes to this privacy policy

We reserve the right to adapt this privacy policy so that it always complies with current legal requirements or in order to implement changes to our services in the privacy policy, e.g. when introducing new services. The new privacy policy will then apply to your next visit.
